This is Tugce Makarnaci. Graduating in international relations and working for years, I realized my true calling resided in the realm of art. Now, in İzmir, I am immersed in studying ceramics and glass.

A scholarship marked a turning point, affirming my decision to embrace art fully. The chance to collaborate with the esteemed artist Emma Varga for two weeks was truly transformative. Under her guidance, I mastered glass fusion and patte de verre techniques, adding depth to my skill set. I am proud to say that my works are exhibited at GAS 2024 in Berlin and DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year 2024 in London. 

Notably, I secured a spot in the revered "Altın Testi" exhibition, underscoring the progress made in my artistic journey. 

I lived in Athens and that spanned two enriching years, profoundly shaped my creative ethos. Immersed in the rich tapestry of history and the diverse cultural narratives of the Aegean region, I found myself deeply inspired by the confluence of two distinct yet harmonious cultures that flourish by the Aegean Sea. This profound connection is elegantly woven into the fabric of my art, which stands as a testament to the enduring pursuit of peace—a serene reflection of the Aegean spirit.
